Metal Archives

Vanderen jumps around into the various outer influences black metal artists in the '90's worked with, like keyboards, electronic interludes, medieval-type melodies and viking vocals.  This mishmash of ideas and the echoing burp at the end of demo has Vanderen playing off as more of an experimental batch of songs or recordings for fun.  BUT this is not to be taken lately, there's some TOP-NOTCH black metal on this demo.  The first four songs are godly!  The last three are okay, interesting at best but not wholly realized and soul-felt as say, the Darkthrone stuff Fenriz does.
