Spelljammer - Inches From the Sun

"The band sets up a hypnotic groove that is always climbing in atmosphere and the clean vocals from Nik perfectly compliments that sound. The groove while repetitive is also infectious and the seven minutes of this song flows beautifully and is extremely well-balanced so it seems shorter than what it actually is. One perplexing factor is the band sounds like 1990's vintage Stoner, Desert Rock but without really sounding like anyone in particular and that gives the band a character that is pure "Spelljammer." - Doommantia "Here is yet another pretty amazing Stoner Rock band from Sweden, and man do these guys really deliver the goods. Slow, bass-heavy, and insanely fuzzed-out stoner doom jams are what this band is all about." - Heavy Planet "This is for fans of Sleep, Lowrider, Kyuss, Slo-Burn and Acid King, but if this is a debut, one can foresee only great things for this band, including the overcoming of the masters!" - Sludge Swamp credits released 29 October 2010 recorded and produced by Spelljammer / mixed by Robert Sörling and Mattias Förnell / mastered at 15k Studios by Mattias Förnell / cover art and design by Niklas Olsson / all music and lyrics by Robert Sörling and Niklas Olsson
