Morbid Angel was formed in 1983 by original members Trey Azagthoth, Mike Browning, and Dallas Ward. For some time it was an instrumental band until bass player Dallas Ward began singing, but they wanted a front man so the search was on. Several singers were auditioned, and this demo, recorded in 1985, had local metal vocalist Kenny Bamber and Dallas sharing vocals. Kenny's style did not fit the band so Dallas continued singing. Before Dallas left the band, Richard Brunelle joined the lineup on guitar and also did some vocals at some live shows. After Dallas' departure, Mike Browning took over lead vocals and the classic "Abominations Of Desolation" was recorded in 1986. The rest is Morbid history......

Details: Their first demo. The Recording quality is differently not what you would expect for Morbid Angel, it has a very raw sound that you could blame on the fact that it was done in the early 80's. The vocals are a cross of guttural, and that annoying 80's high pitched squeal, that was so popular back in the day.
