The three demos were mainly Death/Thrash. In late 1990, the band recorded the songs "Cremation" and "Worlds of Nothingness" which were very different sounding from the early material. These songs were heavy, downtuned death metal along the lines of Rottrevore and Autopsy. One of these songs, "Cremation", was released on the Projections of a Stained Mind compilation (CBR Records) the following year.

Members of Macrodex formed the bands Crypt of Kerberos and House of Usher.
